
Disaster Response & Preparedness
Natural or man-made, disasters happen throughout the year - the nor’easters of winter, hurricane season, flooding from overtopping riverbanks or a broken water main and other non-weather incidents, such as a major fire or a severe pandemic.
Beyond the efforts of the immeadiate responders, volunteers play a crital role assisting with important recovery efforts or are needed throughout the year to educate and assist people in gettng prepared.
